With the summer transfer window coming to a close, Rangers have been facing a tough battle in their pursuit of new signings. One player that has reportedly caught their eye is Hannibal Mejbri from Manchester United.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Rangers have “tried” to sign the talented young midfielder as the race for his signature heats up. Mejbri, who has been impressing with his performances for Man Utd’s youth teams, could bring a lot of quality to Steven Gerrard’s squad.
However, with other clubs also interested in Mejbri, Rangers may struggle to secure his services before the transfer deadline. The Scottish champions will have to act fast and potentially offer a lucrative deal to convince the youngster to make the move to Ibrox.
