Rangers confirm their starting XI against Motherwell

Rangers have confirmed their starting XI for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash against Motherwell at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard has made four changes from the 2-0 defeat to Lyon as his side look to continue their strong league form.

Allan McGregor keeps his place in goal, while fringe player Jack Simpson comes in for Leon Balogun.

James Tavernier and Borna Barisic once again occupy the full-back spots.

In midfield, Joe Aribo, Steven Davis, and Glen Kamara are all playing together.

Ryan Kent is injured, and Scott Wright takes his place, while Fashion Sakala comes in for the axed Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe has replaced John Lundstram.

A few changes.

It is no real surprise that Gerrard has decided to replace a few players after a poor display on Thursday.

Lundstram struggled in midfield, so it is no shock to us to see Aribo slide back into his usual role.

Unfortunately, Kent is injured, so Wright gets his chance to shine; while on the bench, Gerrard can call on Juninho Bacuna and Morelos if things are going wrong.

With Kent injured, we hope that Wright takes his chance and makes a claim for a regular spot in the first team.

There are a couple of players missing, but the Gers should still have more than enough to beat Motherwell, especially in front of the fantastic home crowd.

The Bears have struggled in Europe, but they have been strong in the league, and we can’t wait for this game to get started.

In other Rangers news, Max Rushden makes extraordinary claim on the Gers after latest development.
